- Applicants should be healthy and well-behaved, and have a foreign citizenship and an educational background equivalent to that of the Chinese high school diploma.
- Applicants should be 18 or above by Sept. 1, 2021. For the applicants under 18, please submit a Guardian Statement in the online application system.
- HSK (level IV) certificate or above is required for applicants who would like to study in the programs of science, engineering and medicine; HSK (level V) certificate is required for applicants who would like to study in the programs of liberal arts. Applicants who apply to study as a freshman in Chinese language program in School of International Education don't need to submit HSK certificate.
- For applicants who haven't reached the required Chinese language level, they can apply to study Chinese language in Wuhan University first. After obtaining HSK (level IV) certificate or above, they can apply for the major study.
- If the applicant's parents or one of the parents are Chinese or the applicant has emigrated from Chinese mainland, Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan and acquired foreign nationality for, according to the No.12 Announcement of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (2020), they must be naturalized for 4 years or more and have more than 2 years of residence in foreign countries during the past 4 years (before April 30, 2021).
- Applicants who have completed senior high school studies in China are required to provide personal birth certificates and parents' nationality certificates.

Program Description
General Information:
Students are required to complete the curriculum between 4 years and fulfill the designated number of credits.
Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the bachelor\'s degree, according to the regulation of the Degree Committee of the People\'s Republic of China.
One who has failed to meet the academic requirements will be issued a certificate of completion of studies provided this is in conformity with the relevant regulations.
Note:
1. Textbook fees: based on the prices of the books.
2. Students who need the Chinese Government scholarship should apply to the Education Commission of China through related governmental department of their respective countries. Self-supporting students should apply directly from the Admission Department of Foreign Students Office. -

1. Discipline Records
Candidates who have any learning experiences in any universities or colleges in China should submit Discipline Records from those universities in China.
*2. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
*3. Physical examination report in the past three months
The original must be submitted when registering for admission.

8. Study Requirements for Ethnic Chinese
If the applicant’s parents are or one of the parents is Chinese, or the applicant has emigrated from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and acquired foreign nationality, according to the No.12 Announcement of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (2020), they must be naturalized for 4 years or more (before April 30, 2022) and have more than 2 years of residence in foreign countries during this period (The actual residence in a foreign country for more than 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to the entry and exit stamps).
Applicants born in foreign countries are required to meet the above criteria, and provide personal birth certificates and parents' nationality certificates.*9. Senior high school academic transcripts
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
