Entry Requirements
1. Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens and meet the requirements stipulated in the JWH [2020] No.12 Document issued by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Applicants shall be physically and mentally healthy and willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the regulations of Wuhan University.
2. Applicants shall be between 18 and 25 years of age as of Sep. 1, 2025. Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit a guarantee letter from their guardians in China when applying.
3. Language Ability
Applicants for English-taught programs shall hold a TOEFL 80+, TOEFL Essential 8+ or IELTS 6.0+ certificate. Applicants whose mother tongue is English or who have previous degrees taught through the medium of English can be exempted from TOEFL, TOEFL Essential and IELTS if approved by Wuhan University.
4. Identity Verification of Ethnic Chinese
If one or both of the applicant's parents are Chinese, or the applicant has emigrated from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and acquired foreign nationality, according to the No.12 Announcement of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (2020), they shall be naturalized for four years or more (before Apr. 30, 2025) and have more than two years of residence in foreign countries during this period (actual residence in a foreign country of more than nine months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to the entry and exit stamps).
Applicants born in a foreign country are required to meet the above criteria and provide a personal birth certificate and the parents' nationality certificates.

ROLE AND PURPUSE OF COURSE:
Human resource management, the compulsory major course for students majoring in HRM, is the process and activity for an organization to realize its strategic goals by reasonably searching and allocating, effectively developing and scientifically managing its human resources, and then influencing the organizational human resources' attitudes, behaviors and performance through relevant human resource policies, systems and management practices. By means of lecture, discussion, case study, role play, internship and survey, relevant theories and practices of human resource management in organizations including introduction to HRM, theories of HRM, human resource strategy and planning, job analysis and design, recruitment and assessment, training and development, performance management, salary management,
career management, labor relations management, human resources outsourcing and HRM for international enterprises will be systematically introduced.SUBJECT LEARNING OUTCOMES:

4. Brief Introduction to Wuhan University
