Entry Requirements
- The applicants shall be non-Chinese citizen, and meet the requirements of JWH [2020] No. 12 Document of the Education Ministry of China. The applicants shall be physically and mentally healthy and willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the regulations of Wuhan University.
- Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years old as of September 1st, 2023. Applicants who are under the age of 18 shall submit a guarantee letter from his/her guardians in China when applying.
- Applicants for English-taught programs shall hold a TOEFL 80+, TOEFL Essential 8+or IELTS 6.0+ certificate. Applicants whose mother tongue is English or have previous degrees in English can be exempted from TOEFL, TOEFL Essential and IELTS certificate if certified by Wuhan University.
- If the applicant's parents are or one of the parents is Chinese, or the applicant has emigrated from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and acquired foreign nationality, according to the No.12 Announcement of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (2020), they shall be naturalized for 4 years or more (before April 30, 2023) and have more than 2 years of residence in foreign countries during this period (The actual residence in a foreign country for more than 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to the entry and exit stamps).
- Applicants born in foreign countries are required to meet the above criteria, and provide personal birth certificates and parents' nationality certificates.

Applicants who have any learning experiences in any universities or colleges in China should provide Discipline Records from those institutions in China.
