Entry Requirements
- The applicants shall be non-Chinese citizen, and meet the requirements of JWH [2020] No. 12 Document of the Ministry of Education of China. The applicants shall be physically and mentally healthy and willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the regulations of Wuhan University.
- Applicants should be between 18 and 40 years old as of September 1st, 2023. Applicants who are under the age of 18 shall submit a guarantee letter from his/her guardians in China when applying.
- Applicants for English-taught programs shall hold a TOEFL 80+, TOEFL Essential 8+or IELTS 6.0+ certificate. Applicants whose mother tongue is English or have previous degrees in English can be exempted from TOEFL, TOEFL Essential and IELTS certificate if certified by Wuhan University.
- Master degree or above.

A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
*2. Copy of national passport home page and copy of the visa issued by Chinese embassies (if available)

*4. PhD program applicants should submit both master’s and bachelor’s degree certificates.
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*5. PhD program applicants should submit academic transcripts of both graduate and undergraduate studies.

*6. Two recommendation letters
Written in English or Chinese from professor or associate professor or equivalents including professors' contact no., email address and handwritten signature.
Recommendation letters from higher or senior professionals in related academic field required for doctor degree applicants.*7. Personal statement and a brief research plan (over 800 words).
Besides, PhD program applicants need to submit a brief introduction of research experiences.

10. Candidates who have previously studied at a university or college in China should provide behavior records from those institutions as part of their application.
