Entry Requirements
1. Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens and meet the requirements stipulated in the JWH [2020] No. 12 Document issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. Applicants shall be physically and mentally healthy and willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the regulations of Wuhan University.
2. Applicants for a master's degrees should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and be generally no older than 35 years of age.
3. Language Ability
Applicants for Chinese-taught programs shall hold the new HSK level 4 certificate (with scores of 180+). Applicants whose mother tongue is Chinese or who have been taught in Chinese in high school can be exempted from a HSK certificate if approved by Wuhan University.
4. Identity Verification of Ethnic Chinese
If one or both of the applicant’s parents are Chinese, or the applicant has emigrated from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and acquired foreign nationality, according to the No. 12 Announcement of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (2020), they shall be naturalized for four years or more (before Apr. 30, 2025) and have more than two years of residence in foreign countries during this period (actual residence in a foreign country of more than nine months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to the entry and exit stamps).
Applicants born in a foreign country are required to meet the above criteria and provide a personal birth certificate and the parents' nationality certificates.
Applicants who have completed the previous studies as international students in China，are not included in this regulation.

My name is Evans Tarisai Chikwakwanyi am a senior student in Wuhan university of technology. Am expected to graduate at the end of this June 2018. i hope to be accepted at your department for the master of geomatics and remote sensing information engineering and i am longing to get my master degree there. After i finish my master study i will go back to my home country and use my new skills to end suffering and poverty as i believe that information is prosperity.
i was born in Kwekwe , city in Zimbabwe and the only child to my parents. in 2014 i entered wuhan university of technology and i majored in mining engineering. i know that it may sound like it has no relation with my preferred master degree but actually , the four year long science and geographically based study lady a strong foundation for the master program in your school. The pleasure i got from studying and research made me decide to pursue a career in science management to be engineering development .
Science and engineering have a long but vivid and important history in china and most recently in wuhan university . Because of it , data in all kinds of reachable and non reachable areas has been collected and used effectively. Am very familiar with GIS, surveying ,photography , radiography and data analysis . a graduate degree from your department will not only enhance my knowledge but place me in a strategic effective position to make a change not only in my country but in Africa as a whole. it will give me an opportunity to interact and study with the best geographers in the world and participate in cutting edge research.
Wuhan university has a history of more than one year and some of the best academicians not only in china but in the whole world. and your department is the highest ranked in all Asia. i chose this school for its stimulating atmosphere , excellent professors and beautiful sceneries.
i will pursue a master degree in science and engineering management in wuhan university . the length of the study is about 3 years.
Throughout this period my study will be focused on Geography and remote sensing particularly in GIS application , reliable spatial analysis and change detection. The time arrangement of the study is listed below.
First Year
i would like to put most of my effort on studying core courses and familiarizing myself with the research methods and team. i would also attend seminars and i would select a Professor as my graduate director and mentor. i will also layout my research plan.
second year
i will join a research group and do my preliminary research . i will also begin working on my proposal and publications under the instructions of my advisor.
third year
According to my research proposal , i will carry out my research ,arrange data and experiments, analyze the results and modify the scheme.i expect to publish high quality papers on international journals. during this period. after completing all my tasks , i will submit them to my teachers.- 8 Years ago

Program Description
General Information
Students are required to complete the curriculum between 2-3 years, fulfill the designated credits, complete the master’s thesis and defend of it in front of a panel of experts Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the master’s degree, according to the regulation of the Degree Committee.
One who has failed to meet the academic requirements will be issued a certificate of completion of studies provided this is in conformity with the relevant regulations.

Students who need the Chinese Government scholarship should apply to the Education Commission of China through related governmental department of their respective countries. Self-supporting students should apply directly from the Admission Department of Foreign Students Office.
