Entry Requirements
1. Applicants should be healthy and well-behaved, and have a foreign citizenship and an educational background equivalent to that of the Chinese high school diploma.
2. Applicants should have good academic records and provide the following documents (including but not limited to):
High school transcripts (original/notarized copy in English or Chinese).
Diploma of high school education or certificate of expected graduation (in Chinese or English).
Results of international standardized tests
3. Applicants who have any learning experiences in any universities or colleges in China should provide Discipline Records from those institutions in China
4. Applicants should be 18 years old or over by Sept. 1， 2022. For the applicants under 18 years old, please submit a Guardian Statement in the online application system.
5. Non-native English speakers, who apply for English-taught programs, should provide a score report of English Proficiency test (TOEFL 80+/ IELTS 5.5+). For applicants who cannot offer the above-mentioned standardized English test results, they will be required to participate in an additional oral or written English test organized by Wuhan University.
6. If the applicant's parents are or one of the parents is Chinese, or the applicant has emigrated from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and acquired foreign nationality, according to the No.12 Announcement of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (2020), they must be naturalized for 4 years or more (before April 30, 2022) and have more than 2 years of residence in foreign countries during this period (The actual residence in a foreign country for more than 9 months in a year can be calculated as one year, subject to the entry and exit stamps).
Applicants born in foreign countries are required to meet the above criteria, and provide personal birth certificates and parents' nationality certificates.
